Pumpkin pie ingredients 1-1/2 cups canned (or fresh) mashed cooked pumpkin 3/4 cup sugar 1/2 tsp salt 1 to 1-1/4 tsps cinnamon 1/2 to 1 tsps ginger 1/4 to 1/2 tsps ground nutmeg 1/4 to 1/2 tsps ground cloves 3 slightly beaten eggs 1-1/4 cups milk 1 6 oz can 2% evaporated milk 1 9" unbaked pastry shell Pumpkin pie directions Thoroughly combine the pumpkin, sugar, salt and spices. Blend in eggs, milk and evaporated milk. Pour into unbaked pastry shell and have the edges crimped high - filling is generous. Bake in 400 degree oven 50 minutes, or until knife inserted in middle comes out clean. Allow to cool before serving with either whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
